At 1159 hours on March 1st, MFD was dispatched to under mutual aid for one engine to stand by at Maybrook’s fire station while they operated with multiple pieces of equipment in Campbell Hall. As Engine 219 was assembling for this request, MFD’s assignment was upgraded to respond to the fill site to fill tankers operating at the Campbell Hall fire. Car 1 (Pressler) and Engine 219 were quickly on the road and soon established the fill site at a dry hydrant near the fire. 219 was able to gain a draft from the water source and filled numerous tankers for Campbell Hall before returning to service.
