MFD Runs Two Serious MVA’s, One with Driver Trapped

Saturday’s snowstorm brought with it a busy day for Montgomery firefighters. Ladder to Maybrook for a 1 Alarm Structure Fire

At 0437 hours on January 4th, MFD was dispatched under mutual aid to the Maybrook Fire District for one truck to the scene of a reported basement fire on Homestead Ave. Car 2 (Hank) and Truck 221 arrived and assisted Maybrook FD with searching for hot spots, overhauling, and preforming secondary searches.

Rescue to Maybrook for Structure Collapse

At 1241 on December 2nd, MFD was dispatched for one rescue with manpower to the scene of a structure collapse in the Maybrook Fire District. Upon arrival, Montgomery Rescue 222 and Car 1 (Pressler) went straight to work. Rescue Handles 1 Vehicle Crash on Albany Post

At 0739 on October 25th, MFD was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on Albany Post Road with unknown injuries. Rescue 222 arrived and assisted EMS with patient packaging and disconnected the batteries before returning to service.

Rescue to Pine Bush for 2 Alarm Structure Fire

At 1549 on October 24th, MFD was dispatched under mutual aid to the Pine Bush Fire District for one rescue to the scene of a working fire with manpower. MFD crews quickly arrived and assisted PBFD with overhaul and mopping up small brush fires in the area.
